Volunteer-operated community bike shop

Reuse. Repair. Ride.

Community Cycles Seguin helps people access affordable bikes, free and low-cost repairs, bike repair education, tools, workspace, and need-based transportation support.

How we help

We keep bikes rolling by combining community donations, volunteer mechanics, education, and practical transportation support.

Get a bike

We sell refurbished bikes and work with community partners on need-based bike distributions.

Fix a bike

Bring your bike to Open Workshop for repair help, parts guidance, and hands-on support.

Learn repair

Learn practical bike maintenance skills from volunteers and trusted repair resources.

Donate a bike

Bike, parts, accessory, and financial donations help us serve more riders in Seguin.

Volunteer

Mechanics, greeters, organizers, grant writers, marketers, and helpers all make the shop work.

Build community

We believe bikes create freedom, health, connection, and opportunity.

Most common questions are answered here. This helps volunteers spend more time fixing bikes.

What are your hours?

We are open every second Saturday of the month from 9 AM–12 PM. We are also available by appointment when volunteers are available.

Do you accept donations?

Yes. We accept bikes, parts, accessories, and financial donations. Donations are tax-deductible. Bring physical donations on second Saturdays from 9 AM–12 PM.

Do you sell bikes?

Yes. We sell refurbished bikes, parts, and accessories. Bike sale proceeds support no-cost repairs and need-based bike distributions.

Do you offer repair and maintenance education?

Yes. We offer free community education during Open Workshop and provide repair resources online.

Do you offer need-based bike distributions?

Yes. We distribute bikes through community partners. To see if you qualify, please contact Christian Cupboard or Seguin Sunrise Lions Club directly.

Can I leave my bike there for a tune-up?

We discourage this because volunteer availability changes and we cannot guarantee when a bike will be completed.

I can’t make it on second Saturday. Can I schedule another time?

Possibly. Contact us with your situation and our volunteers will do their best to help.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. Community Cycles Seguin is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
